After getting my LMF titanium spork...I think I've gotten addicted to titanium things. Even if it's not the most sensible thing sometimes. In particular I'm looking for a cooking kit or similar rig that could nest with my Guyot in my Maxp. bottle holder, but just fun gear in general is sought after. Any favorite bits of Ti gear?

I use the Snow Peak Mini Solo cook set. It comes with a cup, pot and pot lid. Nested with and including a Nalgene, it is lighter than the Guyot bottle alone.

I like my titanium cup, but I haven't really tried much more than that titanium wise. I will look next time I hit the local military surplus store for some items to try.

Cool! I thought I had a seen a few of those cooksets nested with bottles, but was unsure. On the wishlist it goes! :D

Now if only someone made a titanium wide-mouthed water bottle...:(

What I like about the Nalgene with the Snow Peak Mini Solo is, like I said above, the combination weighs less than a Guyot bottle. The more important thing to me though is I can be treating water in the Nalgene, enjoying a cup of tea in the cup, and oiling water in the covered pot at the same time. The idea of having multiple versatile pieces at an extremely low weight, sold me on the combo.

I also have a Caldera Ti-Tri Titanium Stove that Trail Designs custom built for my Snow Peak Mini Solo. I love it. The Ti=titanium and the Tri=3 types of fuel (wood, alcohol, and esbit). You can get 2 cups of water boiling in under 5 minutes (if you don't include the time to collect pine cones and dry sticks:D). Mine also included a GramCracker Esbit stove and a alcohol stove. Crazy light and I highly recommend. I also had them custom make one for my Snow Peak 1400, for when I go with larger groups.

I love my Evernew titanium pot, combined with my Clikstand and Trangia alcohol burner. Great lightweight cooking system with versatile, easy-to-obtain, and cheap fuel.

Snow Peak's titanium Trek 700 (700mL pot) is an excellent lightweight replacement for the canteen cup (we've all lugged around).

If I lost my current one, I'd buy another, instantly. Runs about $30

I also carry the 700. Awesome cup. Nests very nice with a 32 ounce nalgene or similar sized bottle. There is just enough space between the two to slip in a small piece (3in X 3in) of silicon to use as a pot holder since the handles on the 700 do get quite hot.

My only gripe with the 700 is that the lid is made from stainless steel instead of Ti. Feels like the steel lid weighs as much as the pot itself. Why no Ti lid?

I had a camera of Ti body surface (inside structure was CFRP haha.) but lost it in mountain.
I had a watch made of Ti but lost it in backcountry ski tour.
My Ti key ring has gone somewhere I don't know.

Now my camera is made of magnesium, watch is plastic, keyring is just a nylon cord.

Now the only Ti item I own is Fritsche Diamir backcountry ski binding.
I'm using it for these 10 years without any trouble.
I love it and can recommend it for sure.

Thanks for all the links, guys! Keep 'em coming! :D

Still liking the looks of the good 'ol classic Snow Peak stuff the best. :)
