Hey there everyone! This bushcrafter is a nothing fancy, all business aproach to an outdoors knife. This knife is the result of customer request over the last couple years, plus something new I'm doing in the way of outdoors hard use leathers. The specs I'll list below, but there are a few things I'll explain here. First, the finish on the blade has been left at a course grit to allow the user a good place to strike a match from. Second, the grind is an "almost scandi" sabre grind to allow for lots of blade strength, but at the same time have an edge thats easy to maintain in the field and in fact can be sharpened into a full scandi if the user wishes. Good for delicate jobs, or making kindling. Third, the portion of the back of the blade forward of the thumb notches is intentionally left with crisp edges to permit the use of the included Ferro Rod for fire lighting without having to use the edge of the blade, thus causing it to dull. In the field you want to save your edge as much as possible. The newest thing for me is the finish to the leather. I have been trying out a new finish for undyed leather that I really like. This is a hot aplication of pure bees wax and oils that when aplied to the leather and then heated until they penatrate, will protect the leather from moisture better than anything commercially available. These are the first knives I'm putting out for sale with this treatment. I love the way it makes the leather look too.
Well thats enough rambling about these knives for now. Check out the specs below and as always, comments are greatly apreciated.

Thanks!

Let me be the first one to say congratulations on such beautiful work. Outstanding leatherwork and the knives are perfect.

I love how your rough finish blades and non fancy functional sheaths look better than many others fully finished ones.

I have held and bought many knives from Lamont the guy is an artist and a perfectionist his work is just amazing.

Lamont I love the look of the new finish on the leather. Looks utilitarian yet still elegant.

The kids are still loving the bushcrafters you made them last xmas I'm gonna soot you an email about ideas for their presents this xmas.

Outstanding knives from a true master! If you haven't had the pleasure of dealing with Lamont and buying one of his knives, you are missing out! Look at those grinds! Plainly put, his F&F is Superb!

Thanks so much for the most kind words everyone! I'm finishing up a couple more of these that I will post when they're done. Unless I decide to keep one for myself of course.

Great lookin stuff. Some nice touches. I like that you stitched the fire steel holder to move the fire steel away from the sheath a tad.

Impressive knives. For my large hands the handle seems to be a bit too slim, but other than that they seem to be perfect. That grind just has to make it an outstanding user knife.

Law1173, you got the orange one.....drducati, you got the green one. Thanks so much my friends!! The knives will be on their was as soon as I recieve your payments.

Lamont, I finally got to open the knife and inspect it. It looks and feels great! Perfect for camping. Thanks again!
