Very nice grinds and a great looking sheath!

This may be an obvious question but has this knife been forged by you or is it a stock removal?

Wow! Your skills and spectrum of knives and styles never fails to impress. Love the single guard and that sheath. This one needs to sell soon, before my better half puts her hands on her hips, shakes her head in resignation, and smiles.

Thanks for the comments guys! I'm really sold on this kind of handle wrapping, never having handled a knife with this kind of handle until I made one. It is one of the most comfortable and solid handle wrappings I have ever seen. This knife has great balance and a CRAZY sharp edge too. It especially feels good in the hand when you "over grip" the guard. (I made the riccasso long enough to make this a safe thing to do btw).
Anyway, thanks again to everyone who's looking!

Funny, the only thing I don't like about the knife is the handle wrap. Different strokes and all that. It is a truly beautiful knife though.

With me in the state of mind I am lately, you never know, I may at some point rip the cord off this one and put Mammoth Ivory on........lol Getting married soon, so can't be responsible for my own actions.

Thanks for looking guys!

There ya go again... Excuse me while I go out back and burn my tools:D

Your grinds are superb as usual, the profile looks great and deadly, but as far as the handle,i'm with Ted,i dont really care for cord wrap, plus i think this blade deserve better
i.e a nice g10 or carbon fiber,or even ivory as you said!!!
Congrats on the news of your wedding, best wishes
Marc

I do not own any cord wrapped knives. Question...will the cord come loose and affect grip with repeated use? Is tightening a regular maintenance issue? This is a beautiful piece of work and the wrap concerns me.

Not ever having used a knife with this style of wrap, I don't know. Although I see alot of people doing these and haven't heard any complaints. In fact, most people want to be able to remove the cord in emergency situations. It seems very tight and stable to me. It was just something I wanted to try.
If there is anyone out there who has a knife with this kind of wrap, I'd like to hear some feedback on this question. Maybe this is a good knife for me to keep and beat the hell out of. That may be the best way to get the answers to our questions.

I have done that btw. LOL Seriously tho, I think your all right on this point. Guess I'm gonna take this knife down and figure something else out for it. I must have been smoking too many of the weeds growing out back or something.

MAMMOTH IVORY would be perfect for this knife. Please let me have the first shot at it if you go that route. I've always wanted a Mammoth handled knife and I really like the other knife I have from you.

That Fighter/Bowie Is "Beautiful" I see nothing wrong with a Good Tight Para-Cord Wrappped Handle not so much on bigger Knive's like this one, But Essential on Survival PSK's ! Survival Knive's and Para-Cord go together like Potato Chip's & Dip ! The Para-Cord Wrap would Not of dettered me from Buying this one !

I actualy really like the wrap! I think it fits the knife very well for both asthetics and purpose!
