Hey guys, I just finished up the sheath for this one and thought I'd post it on here. I like making fighters and those of you that see me at knife shows see quite a few that I have made. This is one dangerous little package. At just under 11 inches overall, it's small enough to not draw much attention, but still have plenty of bite. The recurve edge is "Scary" sharp, and makes this one nasty slashing weapon.
Anyway, have a look and as always, comments are apreciated.

Thanks!

Specs:
ATS-34 blade, ground from 1/4" stock and mirror polished
Blade length 6" to the guard
Overall length is 10 7/8"

The sheath is by me and is 9 oz cowhide, tooled and hand stitched.

I'm asking $475.00 for this bad boy. Please add $12.00 for shipping and insurance.

Very nice. Love the grinds and don't you just love dyed Box Elder?

Take care.

Sorry to intrude, but no! I love the knife, but hate box elder, especially dyed. Of all the stabilized woods, I think it has the most unpleasant smell of any I have sanded. I don't think its the resin, since I don't find California buckeye, black ashe, or amboynia unpleasant.

I don't mind the smell while I'm working it. I do love pretty wood tho. Now Mammoth ivory has got a definative funk about it. Must be what a wet, dead Elephant smells like. lol

Lamont I just opened the Box on this one! As good as you are with a Camera the pictures do not do the workmanship on this knife justice! The Polished finish is blinding, matchup with the sheath is excellent! I love it. Will look great with your other fighters residing here. Thanks again John!

Thanks guys! Got another damascus fighter with a Sambar stag handle in the works. Will be posting that in a week or so.....hopefully. Depends on if I have to order an exotic skin for the sheath or not.
