Super looking blade Lamont ! Like the upswept design of the blade. Looks a cross between a persian and bowie.

Lamont, what a very fine knife ! You are such an asset to BF. I have way too many Custom Hunter style knives but i am very tempted. A $400 knife at half price !
Please, i need help, will somebody please buy this now. You will never regret it, and will smile every time you hold it. I know this because i have a bunch of Lamont's knives already. Lamont is a very accomplished knifemaker and a very kind guy to offer this knife & beautiful sheath for $210.

Edit to add: Thank you Mossy ! Excellent score !

wow, just wow....

I'm not sure I've seen fit and finish look quite as good as your lamont

Thanks mossyhorn! I'll get it out to you Monday morning bright and early.
I'm working on some other knives similar to this one that I'll post as soon as they are done.
Thanks to everyone for the super kind words too!!!! I very much appreciate all your comments.

Not surprised it sold so fast.

That's an excellent handle. And the finish is top notch. Great work.

That's a great looking hunter Lamont!

Reminds me of what we thought a hunting knife should be when I was a boy. A long time ago! Looks great now. I'll be looking for one of those next time.

That is exactly why I have been making these lately. I'm remembering the knives that used to be around the house when I was little and they bring back some fond memories for me.

If you post another one like that one I hope I'm able to be first in line! I do like that little gem!

"I do like that little gem". How about a "Little Gem" ? I'm thinking about a small (under 7") Caper, or Utility, with perfection in design and execution, the "Coombs way". Then i hope i see it first.

You got me thinking Roland. Right now I'm working on some other Randall styled ones. They will be alot like their model 23 because I like that blade shape alot.
