I got a couple of fairly high end knives to show this time. This one is a sexy recurve fighter I made recently using Aldo's 1095 and a piece of curly oak I have had waiting for the right job to use it on. The filework on the spine of the handle is raised to add grip and beauty as well. The hammon on the blade is hard to see in my crappy pictures, but in person it's more visable. I chose a green stingray skin for the inlay to compliment the color in the handle material. Also, the knife balances well and has a nimble feel in hand. Well thats all I can say about it for now, I'll let the specs and pictures say the rest. Check them out and enjoy, and as always, comments are more than welcome.
Thanks for looking!

This one is a persian style sub-hilt fighter I just got done with. Every piece of this one is mirror polished and radiused. Even the butt cap is sculpted on the end so that every area on this knife is worked. I am not quite sure about the species of snake that I used in the inlay on the sheath. I think it's Karung snake, but am not sure as that skin I got in a large lot of exotics and was not identified. I used that particular skin because of the color similarities to the Ironwood on the handle. This is by far the best piece I have turned out this year so far. Check out the specs on it and enjoy the pics.

Now, thats the way knives should be made, reminds me of the old days of knife making when men went out of there way to make some really awesome knives.

Lamont this is another stunning knife that shows what a dedicated and extremely talanted knifemaker you are.
Congratulations on another superb acheivement.

Thanks guys! This one was alot of work to make, but very rewarding in the outcome. I'm working on something similar down the road a piece but in all damascus and ivory scales with a damascus D guard.
