I don't think I have ever posted one of these on here before, but I had to make one for a customer just recently, so I made 2.
I call this a bird and trout, but it could easily be used as a deer knife also. I like a small to mid sized blade for deer hunting actually. I make a bunch of Scagal styled knives every year, but this blade style seems to be the most popular. I know anyone who likes the Scagal style will be more than happy with this knife. It feels really great in the hand, and has a nice fit in the sheath.
Take a look and let me know what you all think.......Thanks!

Specs:

Blade Length: 3 1/2"

I have several of Lamont's Scagel style knives, both small and large. Every one of them is a fully functional work of art.

Don't you guys think he should make more for BF? I sure do.

I'm mixed on that---I mean, his work is outstanding, and right now his wait times aren't bad at all. So, on a wanting him to do well level, yes he should. On a selfish, don't let the secret get out level, no, no he shouldn't. :D

*GULP* YES! Please, sir, may we have some more? (In my best Oliver Twist.) Seriously, though, I really like your knife designs. They are truly works of art. I definitely am interested in seeing more of your work and adding to my collection. Thank you for coming aboard and sharing these beautiful and functional creations with us.

Lamont,
I received the knife today. Beautiful. It does feel great in the hand and I think it will work well on a deer as well. I'll find out next season.
Thanks again.
Terry

My pleasure Terry.....and good luck hunting!
There will be more Scagals on the way guys........I'm working on a large Scagal trail knife in 1095 next, so stand by for that.
