Hi again to all my friends here at BF! Check out this stag handled trailing point hunter. This thing feels so good in your hand with that natural curve in the stag, and the top branch of the guard gives your thumb a perfect perch. I think this is one of the nicest looking hunter packages I have made in a while. Take a look at the specs and enjoy the pics, and as always, your comments are greatly apreciated. Oh, and please forgive me for the shaddows and glare in some of the pics.

Specs:

Blade: O1 Toolsteel 3/16" Thick and 5-1/4" Long
Hollow Ground with Flat Clip
Heat Treated to 57/59 RC
Mirror Polished
Overall Length: 10-1/2"
Handle: Sambar Stag with Amboynia Burl Spacer/Colored Fiber Spacers
Fittings: Nickel Silver
Sheath: 9 oz. Leather with Two Tone Dye, Tooling, and Retaining Strap

Lamont - Just doggone beautiful. From the design, it looks like the user could actually choke up on this knife by putting his index finger under the ricasso. Real nice.

Lamont,. That is one hell of a knife. Anyone would be proud to own it. If I hadn't had some other business today I'd have owned it.

You got it TexasRuby....Thanks my friend!! Thanks to everyone else for looking and commenting. It's not the money that keeps a knifemaker doing what he does, it's appreciation of the craft.

Thanks again everyone!

I'm working on 4 of them and one I'll be listing on BF. I'm finishing up the handles this week, but because of the holiday, I won't be able to get the sheaths done up until early next week. I'll be emailing you then though.
