Hey guys! This is my slim clip point hunter I have made several of over the last couple years. Most of the deer hunters in my area like this knife because of how narrow the blade is and the pointiness of the tip. I have made this knife in several different steels, but O1 seems to be the most popular. This knife will make a good addition to someones hunting gear for small game to deer. One of the guys that bought one of these from me even took his moose hunting with him.
Anyway, check out the pics and specs, and as always, comments are apreciated greatly.
Thanks for looking!

I nice tip o' the hat to Mr. Scagel there.
Love what you've done on the end of the stag!

Lamont, you are not only a technically superb knifemaker, you also have a great sense of artistry. Your knives always come together with a flow and balance of proportions and materials that make them so compelling and pleasing to look at, hold and use.
This one is another fine example of knifemaking at it's best, and at a price that is so kind to the buyer.
Better than a Randall and 1/2 the price !

Damn Lamont - I'm gonna make one of these - love the design and the butt treatment. The only question remains, why hasn't someone scarfed this baby up that price??

Thanks again to all my friends on BF for the kind words! Ida Ho, I'll get you an email out asap. I'm getting pumped up to make a real scagal repro soon. I have been thinking about one of his camp knives for a while and think I'm going to start one in a month or so once I get ahold of my orders a little better. I have a nice large stag crown I want to use on it too. Gonna be a cool knife!
Thanks again everyone!!

Ida Ho, if this is your first Lamont Coombs knife you are in for a nice surprise. Lamont's knives 'in person' are even better than in pictures.

Lamont, Give me a heads up when you make that Scagel. I'd appreciate it. I waited too long on this one.

Roland-
It will be my third Coombs Handmade; traded for one (best trade I ever made) and got one directly from Lamont a few yrs ago. Really glad I was in right place/time to snag this one! And I agree- they are SWEET in hand...

You got it man!
This really is a sweet feeling little knife in the hand. Ida Ho, I know your going to love this knife when you get it.
Thanks again to everyone!

rprocter, I'll second your last. Lamont makes exceptional knives at surprisingly reasonable prices. I have 1 Coombs Hand Made with another on the way. I'll never sell em!
