Hi guys,
We've had a crazy week trying to get these Downeast Companion prototypes done for the show this weekend. Well, here they are. We're currently working with several laser engravers in our area. There is no limit to the amount of clip art they have. Micarta is great for laser engraving images on. What do you think?

It figures that the one I like most is yours!:p

I love them all! Great work and I can't wait to fondle them Sunday!:D

Thanks guys! It has been an unbelievable mountain we've climed to get to this point, but here we are. We're very happy with how the pictures came out and are all ready for the knife show in E. Windsor, Ct. If any of you guys want to see these first 5 prototypes in person, Scott and I will be at the show from 9 to 3 on Sunday the 3rd. The directions to the show are simple. It's the Best Western Hotel right off I-91. Exit 45 (Windsor Locks) We'd both be very happy to see any of you in person and talk knives for a while.
Thanks again for all the positive feedback!

Those look great. Looking forward to seeing some different models.

These knives rock hard! I love the Marine and Law Enforcement themes for obvious reasons, but they are all looking good! -Matt-

From the pic's it looks like any of them will serve there master very well.

Extremely nice durable and functional looking designs from tip to stern IMO

Too bad I can’t make the show to fondle the new knives.

Are any of the proto’s for sale??? (Hint Hint)

I like the orange with the deer head.

They feel as good in the hand as they look.
They look even better in person.

The top of the spine off the point is beveled ever so slightly, sort of a light penetrator tip.
It is hard to see in the pictures, but it sets off the blade amazingly.

The knives look very nice, how are you branding the handles with different designs?

Nice work Guys.:thumbup: Just be careful of the HD emblem. A friend of mine got sued, because he didn't have a license to use it from HD.

Thanks everyone!

pyrguy,
Any of these that make it back from the show this weekend will be for sale in the Maker's section (except the Biker Knife). We'll also have 25 serial numbered ones for sale in there soon.

Hi IG.
I hear ya loud and clear. The HD symbol is NOT FOR SALE!! That is a one time deal for my personal use only. Don't need those kind of troubles!
