Wonderful knives! Marc, you will love how nice it feels in hand. Not too thick or thin.

Scott, I will get one eventually! :D

Mike,
I just wanted to say thanks. I see you post on everything Scott and I put on here, and always have nice things to say. Scott and I have already been talking about your Eagle Scout achievement knife too, so when your ready, we'll have a few ideas to shoot by you.
Thanks again, and hopefully I'll see you in Marlboro on the 30th.

Lamont

Thanks kindly Lamont. I will be sure to let you and Scott know when I am ready. I will definately be at the show and I will definately stop by to see you guys! :D

My project needs some dry weather to deal with the mud. I can't lay down the materials if they all sink below grade. :( I forsee having a couple more months of work to do before I am done.

Hi all,
We're sending out a shipment of grips to our engraver Monday or Tuesday of this coming week. If you see see a knife up there you like, and would like to purchase it and have one or both grips engraved, now would be a good time. He only takes orders in batches of ten grips or more, so it may be a while before we ship grips to him again.

We can do one image per grip, or up to two lines of text such as initials, names, dates, unit, etc. (20 numbers or letters) for $15.00.

The images we have include, but are not limited to: All the ones you see in the pics above, the ones on our prototypes (see link above), The Star of Life (paramedic), Firefighter Symbol, USMC Globe, and Anchor, Standing Whitetail Deer, Standing Moose, Strutting Tom Turkey, Flying Duck, Bear Walking, Bass Jumping.

Thanks,
Scott

A few left the farm today, and three new ones are up. Eleven sets of grips are going out tomorrow for engraving, so we'll have some new Graphic Series knives to post real soon. Stay tuned!

First post "Available" List has been updated. The first batch of pre-ordered knives shipped today, more will ship tomorrow morning! Please let us know how you like them. Lamont and I both plucked a knife for ourselves outa the batch. Lamont is planning a real torture test for his knife as soon as the grips get back from the engraver. We'll be sure to post lots of pics of the test.

Here's a few new pics of some sheaths I just finished up today.

Thanks for looking.
Scott

Hello all,
I'm closing this FOR SALE thread now.
The few remaining knives are packed up as we are preparing for the Marlboro, Ma knife show this coming weekend. Hope to see you there.
Thanks again to all who purchased a Companion knife.

Scott

Received my Companion today.
Wow, is all I can say. As my first foray into a custom/semi-production knife, I could not be more pleased.
The ergonomics are great and the blade shaved the hair off the back of my hand.

I'll be practicing some picture taking this week and will post some pictures as I can manage to get some good ones. Any pointers on knife picture taking?

I hope you guys (Scott and Lamont) don't mind some scuffs on the 01 of 25.
I can not let it be a drawer queen. It is just BEGGING for use on my Spring turkey, if not some other task before then.

Glad you like it!
Take your pics outside, on macro setting, no flash, and out of direct sunlight.

Use her! We want all our knives to be used.

Sunlight? I think I have forgotten what that is.
I heard it can burn your skin or some such legend.

You know what else got me.
Even the pins are spun out to be the same.
Look closely at the pins, they are mirrored images of each other.
That attention to detail to make the knife just so is something else.

Here is an indoor first try.
This is a lot harder than it looks.
