After these are gone, we have a D2 neck knife (The Weasel) and a 4" O-1 bladed drop point (with a slight recurve) with nice wood grips on deck. We have already started on both models. They should be showing up in the next few weeks.

Thanks,
Lamont

Hi Guys,

If you ordered a Companion from us, it has shipped. I shipped the last of the orders out today! Check your mailbox. Its on the way.

Thank you to all of you who stopped by our tables last Sunday to say hi and talk knives. Lamont is right, Its great to finally meet some of you in person, as well as see some old friends again.

I also wanted to say thanks to all of you who purchased a Companion from us. Its a great knife, and it will give you years and years of dependable service. We'll be posting some shots of ours in action real soon. Thanks!
Scott

I look forward to seeing those action shots Scott! They will make the wait in getting one all that more worth it!

Lamont ground these out right? Well, let me say that from owning a couple of his pieces that knife will be one sharp sonofabitch!

EDIT: For those of you who haven't handled one before: It is a close to perfect as you can get for a generic hand size. The thumbramp especially helps put a lot of power into any potential "abusive" cutting.

EDIT2: the Weasel! and a recurve!!!! Scott you just need to blow the ball out of the park not vaporize it! :D

I handle ALOT of knives. While I handle each with respect, I handle these with extreme caution. Screw around with one of these, and a person WILL get cut-bad. They are wicked friggin sharp! Lamont is the Grind Master. We've heard other makers talking about someone's knife joke: "It may be sharp, but its not Lamont Coombs Sharp!"

Thanks Mike! I promise the cool factor on the next two will be way, way up there.
BTW, our friend Dave, at Great Lakes Waterjet, really hooked us up with a cool skeletonized/cutout grip on the weasel. We drew it up, and he wrote the program and cut the blanks. Stay tuned...

DANG!!! I should have waited a day and saved a few bucks... :P lol. I'll be looking forward to getting that Orange handled one. Shouldn't loose that one in the woods anytime soon.

Hey Redsnake1997. Sorry! It wouldn't have been around though. That's a popular color. Already had a few requests for another just like it. Enjoy!

Paypal sent please see email about Shipping Instructions.

Thanks, can't wait to hold it.

Mark

Can't beat these with a stick for the price. Glad I snagged one at the show and had a chance to talk to you guys. Looking forward to the necker too.

I got my Downeast Knife Company Companion in the mail today and must say that it is quite a blade! Very fine detail in the fit and finish and I love the size.
I believe it will be a great EDC this coming fall in the deer woods.

Thanks!
