Coop's Picture of the Ring Guard Bowie.

And finally, on display after my making a stand.

I was thinking about this knife this morning, and how nice a little gold inlay here and there would look.
That's a great looking stand, and that photo is making me thirsty- oh! Look at that- it's beer o'clock!
:)

That is a beauty! I've never really like fixed blades, but knives like this and Don Hanson's are changing my mind.

Thats funny because I was the same way a few years ago. And then Hanson got me into fixed blades by making them stylish as he does. This knife could convert anybody aswell.

That's some really fine work on your own Kevin. I envy your skills! Beautifully presented.

Thanks for showing this. :D

Lorien, not so sure it could handle any more bling. ;)

It's kind of funny in that I presented the single gold pin idea to Kyle soon after he started the knife and he didn't seem too thrilled so we decided to wait until the end to make a final decision. When the end came, I had cooled to the idea but then he was very persistent that we do it. Well he was right IMO. I love little subtle detail in a knife.
;) :D

And on the flip side I'm getting interested in folders after always being a fixed-blade guy.

Thanks Coop.
Some of the success of this project, in addition to Kyle's great skill, can be attributed to team work. There was a lot of good input from members of this forum in that very first thread. I thank you for that.
