Hello

I have been watching the knife form and it appears to have almost
quit answering posts.I'm glad I came across this one, appears to be a lot of good info and a real friendly bunch here.
I was looking around and came across the recommendation for the coote grinder, could you tell me if they have a web site, and if anyone in the midwest sells them, I would like to check them out.

Thanks
B. Buxton

I have a Coote Grinder and it works very well.
I was able to put together a variable speed 1hp grinder for just under $750 total. New motor, used controller both from Ebay.
This is a blade I just finished, using my Coote and a 10" contact wheel.

This is a new Camp Knife I just finished, just thought I would do the pic a little different.
I have a color pic at my link in available knives.

Camp knife, Satin finish made from zone hardened,
cryo'd, tripple tempered 3/16" 5160 steel, Olivewood burl
handle SS Pins and lanyard liner, 7 1/2" blade 12 3/4" OAL

Just remember It is Practice, practice, practice, patience and skill that makes a good knife.
Expensive equipment you buy later... After you figure out exactly what you need!

Nice Blade robert.
robert has the right idea, hook a V/s motro to it and you have a great grinder with out robbing a bank and as you can see by his knife it is able to be a great grinder just as well,as A Bader or another high dollar machine.;)

Go to Rob Frinks web page and look under shops
or home shop I forget what he has it under
Look at Nathan House that is my coote with
my set up

Zodiac: Wow, that's a pretty neat setup. How much did all of that cost you?
