So I decided to get a Coote grinder but wanted a 2hp motor instead of a 1.5hp motor. I found this one with the 5/8" shaft keyed. http://surpluscenter.com/item.asp?UID=2008121920011682&item=10-2375&catname=electric
I also spotted this 1.5 HP with a 5/8" shaft with keyway. http://surpluscenter.com/item.asp?UID=2008081510555923&item=10-2380&catname=electric
Forgive my ignorance but what is the difference if any between the keyed shaft and the one with keyway? Can I get the 2HP motor and hook it up okay? I plan to use pulleys provided by Norm.
