Got the step pulleys for my coote. Didn't ask but I guess small pulley on motor?

How many pulleys did you get? If you put an average size one (3") on the motor, then a set of three on your Coote, you can change speeds from fast to slow, using the small as fast and the largest as slow with the midlle being your average speed (speed of your motor). Speed all depends on the material you are working and the size of your wheel. Do you have the 8" or 10"?

I have the 10" wheel and they sent 2 three step pulleys. The small one is 2-3-4 and the large one is 4-5-6.

I have the same grinder and I have been running it with the small wheel on the motor.

I called coote and to my surprise they answered on a Saturday. They told me the large pulley goes on the grinder with the smaller of the three (4") towards the grinder. The motor is the small pulley and goes on reverse to the other pulley. I will finish my stand tomorrow and post some pictures. It's coming out really good. Thanks for the replies.
