I'm in the market for a grinder, with tax return season coming up soon. I thought about the grizzly, but it seems like it's half and half good reviews and bad.
The coote seems like a good deal, but I'd like some opinions from people who have owned/used one.
Also, I'm not mechanically savvy. What specifications/kind of motor should I get for reliable, stable use over a few years? Dumb it down for me. :o

I own one and i love it. Sure, someday I'll get myself a KMG or whatnot for a changeable face grinder, but even if I do, the coote will always have a spot in my shop.

I do not have a Coote but I can tell you that the owner is one of the nicest guys I have spoken with. I was trying to learn about grinders and he took the time to email me back even though he is 70 years old and is a one man show. I have not heard a bad thing about them. for what it is worth.
