I find it more compact and thought thru than the CRKT MAK-1/EXTRIK-8-K set. It's a pitty it doesn't have a wrench thingie at the rear like the CRKT.
 
It will cost half or less as much as the Wilson original. The sheath is not leather. I think it's some other plastic, not Kydex. I keep checking to see when it's available. I am trying to resist buying the Wilson in desperation! :D

I would like one for myself and definitely need one for my brother-in-law, who actually is a cop, and may get some good, professional use out of it. :thumbup:
 
Mel Gibson could probablly use one. I hear he seems to have run ins with cops and says the "wrong" things. ;) Maybe he could use it as a bartering piece to get them to turn the other cheek like your brother.

Hi Esav,

You are wrong on the price point as i see the custom ones come arround a 100 dollar plus price.
The boker one will be sold at 49.95 euro here in europe and probably arround 40-60 dollars i think in the states.

According to Tobias and boker site probably beginning of August i guess. Sheathstuff again:(.
 
Maarten, I'm right then. :) If the custom is $100 and the Boker is $40 (which I've seen for pre-order) than it's just under half.

Just wanted to make clear the price is about 1/2 of a custom.:confused: Steel supposed to be 440C.

What foreigner? The New York/New Jersey area was founded by you guys, Dutch names all over the place! Staten Island, Hellgate, Rockefeller, Varick Street, Brooklyn, Flatbush, and you're probably responsible for the New York accent, too. :D

BTW $40. sure sounds nicer than the $60. advertised on the back of the Boker catalog
