Copilot handle

I've carried a copilot all the time for 10 years maybe. I know it is small and balanced strangely but I just sorta like it.
My question-For the first time I noticed that they now have an aluminum handle.Mine is SS. I imagine the aluminum makes for better weight distribution but am curious when did this happen?

Tim - we began making the aluminum CoPilot with Tufram coating about 8 years ago. It was a lovely piece but too expensive for the market and was discontinued about 4 years ago.
