Bowie is SOLD... Thanks!

Hi Folks,
It was really disappointing when my knives didn't show up until day two of this year's Blade Show. As a result, I missed Friday's contests. This blade was to be submitted for Best Bowie and call me naïve... but I had high hopes of doing well. It's made to the exact dimensions of the Musso Bowie, with a few minor changes to suit my style. I was very surprised at how balanced this design was. Light in the hand and fast for a big honkin' blade. Good job Mr. Musso!

Copper Back Musso Bowie
O1 tool steel
1/4" thick, full distal taper.
19 3/4" OA
13 3/4" blade
5 3/4" handle
2 1/4" wide
Mild steel guard and butt cap with copper fittings
Copper strip on spine
Handle is leather backed, hemp wrapped, epoxy soaked with leather turkshead knots
Sharpened clip
Leather sheath is hand tooled, stitched, riveted and dipped in beeswax.

Current Price is $1350, shipped anywhere in North America. (Paypal, Int'l M/O or personal cheques accepted... no livestock please.)

Here is an in-progress shot with the Musso plans...

Thanks!

Beautiful blade Rick! I really lust for a couple of your bush style knives. Hope I get a chance to own one someday....

That is quite the nice piece sir. With that blade shape and appropriate distal taper I'm sure she's fast in the hand.
