This 107 has a hint of copper—the spacer in the middle. Does it qualify?

I'm not sure this qualifies...it's kind of an odd, old knife that doesn't fit in with most others in a modern collection. Please feel free to send it to me...I'm happy to take care of it so you don't have to deal with conundrums like this 😀

Absolutely! What year group is that?
I wish I could tell you for certain. Every time I think I have the Group worked out, I begin to question it. The Masonite handle and the sheath suggest an early Group, but inclusion of the model number suggests something a little later. In terms of years, I would put it mid to late 40s.I just can't convince myself which Group. I'm putting up photos of the other side of the knife and of the sheath. Maybe you have an idea?

I’m not smart in that department, for sure, but there are others here who should know.

I'm not so sure the presence of the model number makes it later. A question for Dale (Eichberg) would be if any Group 1 knives ever had model numbers. My example knowledge base is weak but the font size, painted snap, Masonite handle, and "BUCK" stamped under the sheath opening all suggest early to mid 40's Group 1 to me if we can get past the model number question.
