Now I don't use mosaic pins much, but I have three knives that I am working on right now where I would like to add some pins to a copper saddle-guard. I have been trying to find some copper or copper/ss (no brass) mosaic pins in either 1/8" or 3/16" (or 5/32" would be OK too). Where to y'all go for your mosaic-pin needs? Best selection?... Best prices?

Thanks in advance.

Erin,

I bought a piece of 1/8" mosaic pin stock from Pop's a while back. I requested stainlesss, and I think this looks like copper inside (but I might be wrong and it may be brass.) I was kind of pot luck when I ordered it and I wasn't sure what I was going to get as he doesn't have them pictured on his site, but he's very friendly and helpful and I'm sure if you called him he could set you up with something with copper in it that would work for you.

I haven't done much price comparison but I downloaded Jantz's catalog and they have a ton of mosaic pin designs.

There's a guy on eBay, scubafanpa or something like that, that I use a lot, he's in Mississippi, good prices fast shipping. They get shipped in little pieces of pvc pipe so they're not bent when you get them. There's another supplier on eBay from the west coast I've used from time to time with good stuff. Just search on ebay for "mosaic pin".
