The Copperhead is one of my favorite trapper variations, and I couldn't find a thread devoted to them on here, so I figured it was time to get one going. Here's a modest Boker copperhead in green bone that has been a trusty companion:

Let's see 'em! :emot-yarr:

I like the copperhead pattern, here are my two: carbon and candy stripe Boker and a stainless and stag J. A. Henkels

Ludwig Groten, Solingen (propably made by Friedrich Hartkopf, Solingen) seems to be the only Copperhead pattern I own. The ebony covers look much better than on the pic

I only have a couple. I'm not sure why I don't have some more, because I really like the pattern:

And this Case which is a different knife with the wharncliffe and pen:

is there such a thing as a spearpoint lockback copperhead?

Never seen one. There are two kinds of copperheads which are available, the older German style copperhead and the newer Case style.

The case mini copperhead is my favorite esp with the warncliffe main blade.

Fits the pocket great and is stout enough for whittling. Made me leave the cult of the peanut.

Well, you are welcome here in the cult of the MCH.

I just realized, the only one I have a pic of is my Case mini Copperhead and mini Copperlock. The Boker Copperliner in a 'crossover'. I need pics of my Boker blue bone Copperhead, a case stag mini Copperhead, and my Boker 240 pen is a spittin' image of the Case mini, though Boker doesn't identify it like Case does.

Got one of those blue wharncliffe ones on the way now too :D

It is my sunday knife, but I find it a bit unergonomic. The handle is too slim and short for me. The shape of the front bolster limits my grip and the blade "ricasso" limits cutting. I would prefer a version where the blade is sharp all the way. Therefore my work knifes are Opinels.

I love the lines of the mini copperhead. When I first saw this one I had to buy it. No question about it.

Excellent thread. I love the copperhead pattern. I have this 70s Case and a Boker on the way.

Splitter! :D

I really like the look of this pattern, but don't have any. I might pick up a cheapie (a RR or Robert Klaas) to see how I find it.

Great to see so many other copperheads!

Here's a Boker Copperhead w/ "washboard bone" that recently came my way:

Closed length: 3-3/4"
Blades: Solingen carbon

I really like this knife, from the unusual scales right down to the reverse-frost etched "King Kutter" on the blade:

I'm continually impressed with the attention to detail on "Tree Brand" knives. Springs are a smooth 5 out of 10, but with a nice, crisp snap right at either end of the blade travel. F&F is close to flawless, and edges arrived wicked sharp, as they have on every Tree Brand I've purchased. Alignment is also quite good:

Impressive Boker quality throughout, and for a surprisingly modest price.
