is there a worldwide shortage of medium stainless Corby bolts? Tracy is out and Jantz doesn't even list any stainless bolts on their website. Texas Knifemaker doesn't appear to have that size either. What's up?

Should be buying them from Pop anyway. He never runs out, as he makes them. Although afaik they're slightly different sized than the others, so you'll likely need to get one of his counterbores (although they're cheap also).

That's were we get ours from. Bought one of his counter bores and it works very well and was cheap..

I use 3/16" from pops and bought his counter bore. I think they are $2 a pair. I buy 20 pairs at a time.

My problem is that I have 9 hardened CPM 3V blades reamed to the .182 size of the ones from Jantz and/or Midwest and the counterbore to match and only 5 bolts. I am 22 short.

You could turn the barrels on some of pop's corbys down from .187 to .182 pretty easy. If you do not have a lathe, this could be accomplished in the drill press...

You could likely also ream to that size with 3/16 carbide reamer from .182, or simply drill to that size with a carbide drill. The straight flute carbide drills produce a very round hole.

3/16 carbide reamers on ebay for about $10.

Trugrit has them

Stainless, Copper, Brass

Reaming .182 to .188 with carbide is pretty simple. I'll do it for the cost of return postage.
