Hello all , up for sale is a bird & trout knife in A-2 steel with a green cord wrap .
Being A-2 it is considered rust resistant but will still need care as all steels need .
specs.
Steel , 1/8" A-2 , a tad over 3/32" at the plunge grind with a distal taper to tip . It was heat treated by Paul Bos .
O.A.L is 8-3/4 , the blade is sharpened back to 3-1/4 "
Width is 1/2" at the plunge grind , it is hand sanded satin finished .
Green paracord wrap , locktite super glue sealed . The tang was covered with a rubber cement to eliminate any moisture penetration .
Sheath was hand made by another .

I have no need for something like this, but I really like it. Cool knife, keep up the good work.

nice.. that's a very interesting design Jack..:thumbup: right on... looks almost like a surgical tool..:)
 
Looks like a nimble little knife. I am very interested. I'll see if I can get the funds together to make a purchase.

That looks to me like it would be the perfect bird and trout knife. I would like to see the same knife with some nice scales on it!

Keep an eye out , I've got one on the bench with some natural linen micarta scales on it . The blade is a tad wider , 5/32 ATS. I just need to finish it up .
