Cord Wrap Drips

I'm about to start a peice with a cord wrap handle wich I planned to soak in resin.My question is how do I prevent drips? Is there a simple way to rig up something like the rotating tool used in rod building? Any help from anyone with experience would be greatly appreciated,thanks in advance.

I do my wrap and then coat the wrap with epoxy thinned with acetone.
