Cord Wrapped Badger Attack Questions

The cord-wrap makes me think it's an apprentice blade. If so, you got an INFI badger for less than 200$!!!

You owe that dealer a kiss, because whether he knows it or not, he got...

Well, you know the rest! Hell of a score, man. And don't DARE let Mulder get that from you. ;)

btw...Garth will take good care of you. As for hand-shaped tigerhide slabs, I don't think it's been done yet, but if you find a pic of the SFNOLE or NMSFNOLE on www.hogcult.com or www.bussecollector.com, you'll have a good idea. I think that one would look great with mosaic pins instead of tubes. And you could probably have Garth satinize it as well.

Oooohhh...THAT would be a stunner!!!

You really ought to get rid of that. Send it my way and I'll do it for you.
NICE SCORE!

Good idea!

Here's a pic of my NMSFNOLE that is for sale.

Visualize that with smooth bolts and you would have one stunning knife!

Good luck and nice score!

 ... ...

What a deal!!! That sure does look nice too.
OK, I'll say it... YOU SUCK!!! :p

With the thickness you listed, I'll bet it's INFI like Dave said.
And I doubt its an apprentice blade... all that I've seen had the talon hole ground off. ;)

Congrats on a great score!!!

.

Thanks all.
Wow, those scales would look great!
What kind of turn around time would a set take?

I'll let you make some money and take it off your hands for $200, just email me :)

Hey, I talked him through telling him the difference, and asked him the thickness.

I told him it might be INFI and was worth sending to shop. Plus I told him to check in with Mulder, if he didnt know him, and never once asked him to sell it.

If anyone deserves it....

Its me:p:D:D;)

On a piece like that? I think they would take good care of you.

(Not that they dont do that for everyone)

:D:D I'm gonna keep this one! I found out on my last SHBA trade with Mulder quite a frenzy starts when there is hog blood in the water:eek:
knife hunter was very helpful, much appreciated.

Good idea keeping that one.
Let us know when the shop confirms it's INFI.

I'll do that Mulder.
Been e-mailing with Garth, your scale recommendation looks like a go! I'll keep you posted.

I will edit to say :

The best person you could have sold it to was Mulder if you were going to sell, besides myself of course;):D....its why I said hit him up before I knew you even knew him. I knew he would probably know, he would shoot you straight, and give you a fair price if you wanted to sell.:thumbup:

I agree, Mulder is first class, l ended up buying four Winchester lever guns from him, the newest was made in 1954!
A model 71, 64 and two 94's all like new condition.
Could not find a better person to deal with!

I tried a new para cord wrap just for S&G's. The mark on the blade is from electrical tape I put on it after I cut myself:o

That is really an awesome knife. It is my favorite design to date, along with the nmsfno.
