This is a pattern that I cut a long time ago. It currently isn't one of my patterns that I offer however over the last few weeks, as I picked it up and held it, the more I started to really enjoy the feel of it. So I finished it!

The knife is really close to being a scaled down version of the Corehart. It has a pointy spear with the dip in the spine towards the ricasso and a raise in the back of the handle which sucks the knife into the palm. It's a true (4) finger knife in a small and comfortable package. Because the butt end of the handle dies right at the pinkie, I kept all the edges round and smooth. I think it would lend itself well as a neck knife or an EDC knife either on the belt or in the pocket.

Price:$140 as shown with no sheath. SPF

My idea for the sheath was to package it up and send it to Godspeed Tactical. I talked to him about doing a pancake style sheath with coyote brown on the underside and white kydex on the top with black fasteners. From a cost stand point however it makes little sense for me to tack on the cost of the sheath along with another $15 in costs to cover shipping to Godspeed and then back to me. If you want me to send it directly to Godspeed tactical, let me know and we can make arrangements.

I'm humbled and appreciative of you taking the time to stop by and look at my knives. I am a new maker and do not claim to make a flawless knife. I do make a knife to the very best of my ability. I put everything I possibly can into each and every knife. The grinds are even, the fit and finish is clean and my handles are symmetrical. As you can see from the pictures, the blade is convex and shaving is very sharp. The knife in the picture is as you will receive, including the final edge. If you receive a knife directly from me, and it is not to your satisfaction, just box it up and return it. I will refund your payment as soon as possible. Please feel free to comment.

Thank you for the comments.

Elcabre, I emailed you.

Essublime, can you PM me your phone number? I have some questions.

Lovely knife, I really like the handle treatment. Have to say I'm a fan of lighter more natural colours. Awesome job!

Mike , Payment sent for Necker and Baby Malus . . . to mhill7077 can't wait , a little fathers day present for myself , better late than never !

I'm usually my worst critic. Luckily I have some great people who have bought some of my knives that talk me off the ledge. This little knife however I was really happy with. It feels like a whole lot of knife in a really small package.

Thank you for the nice comments! I appreciate the support.

Mike , Got the Necker Knife and the Baby Malus , both are awesome :D , the handle on these conforms to your hand like it was fitted for you personally . It got here real fast , but the darn postal service dented the handle on the necker :grumpy:
its a small fix , might have to sand it down , or I might just leave it . Everyone should own a Core Knife ! I' ll be on a look out
for Camper and a Briar they are next on my list ;)

I'm glad they got there quick but I'd love to see a picture of what happened to the handle. If you want to send it back to me I'll fix it for you. The box had to get crunched to take a chunk out of that handle.
