cork belt question

I need to do some satin finishing. Has anyone used cork belts, and if so, how about some tips on it?

I use cork loaded with green chrome and it achieves a high gloss finish. I think a 3M product(Scotchbrite) would be better. I like the "very fine" belt for this.

Same here, use a scotch brite belt for a machine satin finish.
