I thought I had let go of this a while back. The anger, the rage, the HORROR....
For a while I was at peace with it, not letting his actions affect my stress level. Then out of nowhere today it all came back like a bad dream. The lies, the promises, the favours, the ridiculous stories, the never ending phone calls :yawn: :yawn: And I remembered the $1,100 I sent him really quickly about 2 years back so he could buy some new shop equipment he desperatley needed and how I'd have my 3 knives the next week. "They just needed to have their handles wrapped".
He called me in February, don't know why? Maybe he needed to TALK to someone? I was going to get a folder in with my knives that time :)

So just wondering for the next time I get these feelings if anyone has an email for him that actually works and doesn't bounce all the disdain I'm trying to send him back at me. That way I won't have to bother you good folks with anymore bad news to do with him.
Anyway I know we've heard it all before but if anyone can be bothered, I'd love to send my mail and find my zen like state once more.

I' m sorry to hear he got you with the same story. I placed my order 3 and a hlaf years ago for $5000. I' ve only gotten half of that a year and a half ago and now he just dissappeared off the face of the planet. I thought I learned ot live with it but you know $2500 worth of stuff he still owes me sucks. What gets me even more is 1SKS gets his stuff and they wont help anyone get thiers from Corkum. Now I know this forum is run by 1SKS, so they can free to do whatever they want with my login on this forum and all. But, I will never order a single thing from them as they seem to be the only that gets stuff from Corkum and wont help anyone out.
 
Nobody here knows if Kevin has tried to get Corkum to make good on what he owes people. Even if he hasn't, it really isn't his responsibilty to try to get you your knives, or to get your money back for you. I don't know if 1SKS is continuing to get orders from Corkum, or if they are just trying to get rid of knives they have had for a long time.

Anyway, I am sorry to see that you have been ripped off by this lowlife.

Anthony, Steve Corkum contacted people and told them their knives were ready, or would be by the time the payment arrived. How do you protect yourself from someone that low?
 
I have spoke to Steve. COD works, cash in hand even faster if you live close. Worthless anyway as nobody will touch it anyway.

He says he knows he needs to set things straight if he is ever to move on. I suggested a free knife with every back logged guy to make things a little more forgivable. But then I see things like this that shows me the effort is lacking.

Me, 1SKS, or whoever can lead him to water, but can't make him drink. Customers will dictate what dealers buy. Its working too.

I just got a solicite for a knife. Bowie with stag handle. I asked where my dagger was I sent in for repair..that "was done" mind you...2 years ago. Errr ahh yea, I gotta finish it.
 
Well Corkum has told me the same thing about senting things straight a year ago. Still haven' t gotten anything from him. He promised free knives in the past. By my count he owes me about 2 free ones. If I will ever see anything from him I will never know.
