Corkum Mako set #0!

I had to share some pictures of this beautiful knife and short sword combo that arrived today. MAKO!!

Maker: Steve Corkum
1050 High Carbon steel, convex "zero grind" with AMAZING hamon (temper) lines. Black wrap over black ray skin. Wicked sharp.

I love the lines of these knives and was lucky enough to score the matched set number 0 from Steve. Incredible craftsmanship went into these knives. He's a cool guy too.

What is the balance like ? and what is the blade thickness (average)?
