Up for sale is a Corkum Street Hawk completely re-worked by Ivan. It is fully re-finished, the handle is re-wrapped and the edge has been touched up and re-sharpened ( razor sharp ). Regardless of the maker it is a very cool design and fun to play around with. Ivan also went over a few of the areas that might be a little too pointy and uncomfortable and rounded them out a bit to make the overall feel better. There is a very light, small brown stain at the very butt of the handle that can really only fully be seen with the right lighting. Other then that it has a nice clean FCL finish which clearly shows the temper line. It comes with a kydex sheath with Tek-Lok, which I will admit isn't the greatest. It does a good job of covering and protecting the blade, but I am not sure how secure it would be for EDC.
I know Corkum has a crappy rep ( to say the least ) so if you would rather not post that you will take it feel free to send me a PM and we can talk. I hesitate even putting this up for sale, but I need the funds and this is the easiest way.
The Street Hawk's usually sell for around $350-400 new from dealers, but I am asking $SOLD. Anything over $10 for shipping I will cover on my end, and if you live out of the states you will have to pay the actual shipping costs. After payment is received the knife will be mailed by the next day ( unless on the weekend ) and I will give you the delivery confirmation number later that night. The picture I am attaching ( borrowed from BladeArt ) is just to show what the Street Hawk model looks like if you are unfamiliar with it. The rayskin underneath the one for sale is black, with a black wrap. There are also none of those kydex rubs which you see on the blade. Please feel free to PM/Email me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
Maker: Steve Corkum ( re-worked by Ivan Campos )
Model: Street Hawk
Steel: 1050 with light FCL Finish, Convex Grind
Length: Blade 4.5", Overall 8.25"
Handle: Genuine blue Japanese Ito ( resin soaked to secure the wrap, which also makes the blue look like a very dark blue ) over black rayskin.
