Anyone want to chip in for a corned beef and cabbage dinner at my shop this Saturday (3/14)?????? This will be done Portagee style with Chourico:eek: in the pot. HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!;)

Man, you've really hit a nerve here IG. I love the corned beef and cabbage. My wife will only make it for me ~2x per year. (gas)
 
What the devil is chourico? Some kinda crazy spice that'll melt your face off?

I love corned beef and cabbage but like Andy said... *whew*... I had a reuben last week... the gf wouldn't come near me for two days :foot:

Chourico, is a smoked pork sausage. It's loaded with all kinds of spices and comes in Hot or Extra Hot.:eek::eek:I'll let you guess which one I get.:confused::D

So it's just chorizo and you spelled it wrong? :confused: ;)

Edited to update! I did my begging, and since I'm a romantic bastid, I wrote a poem too and sent it to my wife:

Oh,
I love the corned beef and cabage
But my wife doesn’t love my gas
If she don’t make me a bigun at St. Patty’s day
Then she can kiss my ass
 
You're eating that on pi day!?! What happened to pie for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on pi day?!
 
nothing like a cabbage fart... both in volume and essence!!! Just makes me want to giggle as long as it is my fart!

That's sounds like fun. We'll be doing it here too. My step daughter, an O'Toole, insists. I naturally comply with her wishes. Of course as a Dwyer, used to be O'Dwyer a few generations back, I always had it for St Paddy's. Indeed my Dad, to this day, calls it Irish Ice Cream!
