Cornering tool

I have never tried one on a wood handle, probably would work though to rough shape. I rough shape in several ways from whittling, jack plane, rasp, grinder and then hand sand out!

I knew what you were talking about it will make a radius like a round over bit in a router. However I just have never tried one on a knife handle. It might work well! Don't see a problem there to rough to shape.

I'm going to be the one to say it.....WHY?.

If you are going to file/whittle/sand/grind the handle into a rounded oval, why would you bother to put small rounded edges on the square block first. Those tools are for taking the sharp edge off of cabinetry and things . The rounding is much less than a round over bit in a router.

I have conversed with vern enough to know he will see that I am not picking on him, just pointing out the obvious.

Take care vern.

And they have to be used with the grain, which will inevitably need you to pull towards the guard and there is going to be problems in that... wrong tool for the job.
