Corpsegrinder

Entirely a function of the process, I would think. In fact, I suspect the uniformity of the surface BEFORE the process might have more to do with the consistency than anything else, but what the hell do I know. :D

So I have to ask: is the speckling in the patina a trait of the steel or the method used to etch it? It's just so wild looking, like a digital patina almost.

I have a perfect companion piece for this all drawn up and ready to go- I call it the Gutspoon, lol!

:D

I know the name is over the top. I’ve had a handful of people, elsewhere, assume it was a reference to the lead singer of the death metal band ‘Cannibal Corpse’ (a group that started pretty close to my home town, oddly enough), and although I think by most standards I have a diverse range in musical taste, death metal isn’t included in it. Really can’t tell you why I chose the name, but I KNEW what it was called when I finished profiling it, and considering how few of my knives get named, it must have been important for some reason.

Thanks for all the kind words on this one, gang. It was a unique challenge, that worked itself out.

Gregory and Marchand, aka CORPSEGRINDER World Tour* 2018!
You never heard corpse grinding metal like this- it's like your corpse was dug up and karate chopped in the throat!

*well, Blade Show, anyway

Fantastic. I love all cyberpunk and cleavers! You should look into the real world influence behind The Corpsegrinder in the novel. Survival Reserch Labratories and the mad genius of Mark Pauline. Infamous giant displays of sureal robotic destruction so insane that onlookers were sometimes hurt by the performances.

That’s it!

Is Gibson where you got your handle? Wasn’t LoRez in “Idoru”?
