Did you really just revive an eleven year old thread?
It is strange to see EDC Talonites and Cuda Max 5.5's talked about as if they are still being sold. I am fortunate I put one of each away NIB as they are pretty rare now. Those Cuda Maxx's are still very impressive knives with great big chunks of D2 and Titanium. I recall the EDC having come out in more than just Talonite too. I have them in Aus 8, 420HC, 154cm, and Talonite of course which had the gold colored ( Ti Nitride maybe?) hardware . It makes me miss Camillus as it was. There were some great cutlerers and heat treaters, and metallurgists. It left a large hole in the industry that left many companies scrambling to replace. There is a company that is selling recently finished Camillus made fixed blades after sending the blanks to China to be fitted out. I can't exactly say I miss the old days with Spyderco just having released knives in S110V and K390, but I do miss Camillus, and Schrade.
