Corrosive Ammo?

If you take out the bolt and point the rifle down, you can carefully pour a kettle full of boiling hot water into the chamber and out the muzzle. Wipe dry with a couple of dry patches, and then clean normally with nitro solvent and oil.

Cheap and effective.

Watch your case heads if you reload for your .303. Since the bolt locks at the rear, you tend to get a slight swelling at the spot that the webbing(solid part of the case)becomes the case walls. I shot some reloads that a friend loaded and had a case head separation although I didn't know it till I worked the bolt! If you just neck resize, that can usually be averted. I've hunted with nothing other than my .303 for over 20 years(not counting black powder and bow) Cuzzin Jack
