You guys are totally correct. It's a knife, and as such meant to be used.

I just wish it weren't so damn good looking. I need to go out and use it, get some virgin scratches on it, then it'll be a user.

I've been using my Kershaw Camp 10 as a beater, and just admiring this one. Time for that to change!
 
FCCBCT, how did those rust spots clean up after you got home and a chance to properly address them?
