A lot to admire here

Very instructional picture with 'The Ancient' as it shows that the proportions of this smaller LF are entirely right, no easy task . It's rewarding to see a smaller interpretation and yet the blade is satisfying sized, filling the well of the knife convincingly. Some LFs can present with an undersized blade and I find that disappointing as manufacturers or makers just employ a one sized blade for all frames. Not here, the blade matches the frame absolutely and with correct 'cant' (degree of droop of the blade downwards).

Noteworthy too is the appearance of chequering of the scales, a rare feat and a challenging one that is also in keeping with the heritage of the knife. Congratulations to both artisan and client, well matched
