Cotton sweater for chopping wood and making fires?

The trick in winter activities is to remove heat. I'm guessing you're cutting a bit of wood in the back yard?
Cotton is awesome used properly, and one can make good char cloth out of it. No can do with wool or other artificial materials.

I agree. Sounds like backyard good times. I actually wear cotton a lot out and about. Don't get it wet and it's one of the most comfy fabrics. Wool is usually too warm for my area and synthetics get boggy. Around the house I'm wearing cotton. IMO I think one of the best things to wear on our coast here is a cotton hoody. Just don't get it wet.

Op, try the gap and such. I got a nice cardigan there a few years back.
