I was at Lowe's and found some cotton twine. It is like masons line but it is made of a cotton/poly blend leaning more towards the cotton side. I was looking at the masons line but I don't like the fake/waxy feel of it. So I bought the cotton twine. Is this stuff good? I am looking for some duck decoy thread like I found at Dunham's but I am having to luck.

get the braided masons line, it tends to not twist as much. other than that it is very durable. masons use it to string line their walls to ensure the courses are straight. it is a very abrasive environment and it holds up well there.
