Spent part of the day with BC Wrecking Crew locals JCA21 & Switchblade61. We met up at a local hiking area (BUNTZEN LAKE) and headed to the covered outdoor kitchen area to shoot the breeze and fondle knives. JCA21 sold me his new ESEE Junglas and a new Cold Steel Military R1 San Mai.
we headed up the trails, the torrential rain and endless mist our companion for the day. Up thru the trails, onto the BC Hydro service road and then up the secondary service road under the powerlines. Rain rain rain rain. Non stop rain.

the secondary powerlines road
I used my new Foodsaver to make a waterproof, mud proof case for the GPS
it floats too!
Saw this sign posted , warning of a cougar in the area.
little rivulets of runoff everywhere
cougar or coyote scat
