Nice little knife, can't wait for mine to get here. I'm not a fan of the G10 handles on the bigger knives but it sure looks good on your Bear Cub.

My lil' Bear Cub just arrived and man, it is teeny. Nice and legal to carry in Atlanta with a blade length of 2.75". A Game Warden looks huge next to it. I'm used to opening boxes from Busse and having this huge thing come out.
The Bear Cub is a cool little knife- I just have to find some pants for it now, and it'll ride with me everywhere. It is the perfect "piggyback" knife to a large chopper- it reminds me of the little knives that come along with traditional kukris. It's a little bit gonzo to me to have an AD or something strapped to the side of a big knife, but I think the Bear Cub is sensible.
And it's very light.

Light? Yes indeedy. Feather light. I don't have a Swamp Warden, but I'm sure it's lighter than that. I do have a Scotch Dispenser, and it's WAY lighter than that. It's lighter than the sheath Chuddy Bear made for my Cultellus.
It will make a killer neck knife- you won't even know it's there. It will make an even better pocket knife. I wonder if it will work with the backpocket sheaths Sharpshooter makes for the little Barkies. I bet it will. That may be what I end up getting for it.
Edit: I just ordered one of the sheaths from Knives Ship Free. I'll let y'all know how it works once it shows up.

Soooo, for those that have theirs already... Nice knives!I have one coming in black canvas and satin. Are they light enough to be used as a neck knife? Lighter than say a swamp warden? Thanks in advance.
My Bear Cub was in the mailbox when I checked late last night. I also have a Swamp Warden and the BC is deffinatly much smaller and lighter.

Thanks! Mine was here when I got home and you were right on the money, lighter than a SW, this is definately going around the neck. I am impressed with how well it fits in the hand, I was skeptical:foot:... should've got two.
