Could anyone name this weapon?

I found this weapon in a movie called "The Scorpion King 3" and was wondering if it existed, if so I would like to get a pair for my own to fit in my collection. The picture I included is the only proper image I could find that features them clearly, but I guess you guys don't mind them being wielded by some asian actress.

Thanks in advance.

It is no traditional style. Kind of an amalgum of different stuff mixed into one for some fantasy character. It looks like it has a base in southeast asian short swords though like those used in thailand and the phillipennes

It indeed does look a lot like Kit Rae, if this pair doesn't exist and is solely made for the movie, I'll either go with this one or get some custom made.
Any recommendations on that?

Personally I'd stick with a historically-based sword pattern from a reputable maker. But barring that I'd go custom if planning on using it. The Kit Rae is display only.

Yes, using it is what I'm getting it for, as I'll soon be involved in martial arts and armed fighting training. Thanks for the advice on the custom made!
I'm not very familiar with online shopping etc. so if you might also help me with some sites/vendors that could make custom swords, my day'd be made.

I don't think you'll want a live bladed sword for training. Most reputable instructors require you to use wooden weapons until you reach a certain level of proficiency and they'll best know what to recommend to you in terms of a style. It will almost certainly not be something like that, so you may want to hold off on buying anything for now. :)

Silly Aciebel! Just right click on the image, and you'll clearly see that the weapon's name is Selina Lo, and she looks pretty darned dangerous alright! So much so, I have absolutely no idea why you would need two of her?

Also, don't forget, the initial expenditure is only the tip of the iceberg. Where would you store her them? You'd need to feed them as well, and that would probably cost a lot of money. You'd need to think about what your gf/wife/so would say too. Overall, I'm really not sure they would be worth the cost. :p

Just curious, what martial art would that be?

Now at least let me have some fun on my private domain on some of my straw dummies :D
I won't be using it anytime soon (in 2-3 years after the completion of my parkour/freerunning education) but I'd like to already have them in my possession just for the style.
Buying some fake for showing off and later buying real ones custom made for serious use isn't really smart in my opinion.
It's going to require some planning ahead before actually getting them, so you could just as well already point me in the certain direction, couldn't you?

These are you exact words.

Which is it? Actual training use or just collection? With respect, you're not making any sense
You also haven't answered the question, what martial art will you be training? Going at a straw dummy doesn't count as one

I'll be completely honest with you, I don't know much about where my road will lead me, but one thing I do know:
I want to be as agile as I can get, be as swift in fighting, both armed and unarmed, and I want to learn whatever I can.
As it comes to the weapon I'd like to specialize in, this is it. This pair of swords has intrigued me since I were a teenager, and it still does. (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-c9hZu2KPk4w/T_aT4JKwExI/AAAAAAAAAIA/tTbEfAvfvsc/s1600/109.jpg)
It can't be that there's not one place in the world where you can be taught to handle traditional swords, and if I have to move to some place in Tibet for it, I will.
I hope you kind of understand the point I'm trying to make.

I think they call that biological "Yellow Fever". Watch out, its a really hard bug to kick, you might have it forever and just have to learn to live with it, like malaria!.
