Stacy stepping up and helping folks out like this really encourages us to keep trying.I swear Stacy has supplied half of the makers on here with starting boxes. I know I got one way back in the day and it was chuck full of all kinds of goodies.
Once you get that blade ready for heat treating let me know.
There are a BUNCH of very helpful folks in this group with Stacy heading the list (Stacy really helped me with my forge build) and JT's knocking on the door! Also, can't forget Larrin and his Dad Hoss.... and too many others to name.
As my skill level improves I would eventually like to start building slip joints myself.This forum helped me out considerably. You did me a pretty good favor recently. Stacey helped with all of my tool builds, this forum is lucky to have him. Another guy that really helped me out when i started (but i havent seen lately) is Javan, he took my slipjoint building process from a complete prison shank mess to making solid folders.
