could I put Compact scales on a Tinker?

that way I could add the pen and straight pin, I have a never used 91mm (plus I need new scales for my old 84). I guess the major thing is if the scale fits both the phillips and corkscrew.

As long as you arre dealing with the same size knives (both knives are 91 mm or both knives are 84 mm, etc) they can be changed.

Same here. I plan on 'plusing' about five SAKS (Craftsman, Deluxe Tinker, Ranger, Troubleshooter, Handyman) once the extra scales get here.
