Can anyone please tell me where I could possibly find a knife blank for a Gurkha Kukri style knife that would also allow for a full-tang? I want to undertake something that might be moderately challenging for a hobby that will keep me occupied for a short period of time. I don't have the material to make the blank or complete the whole process myself so I thought if I could find the blank and just start from that point I might be able to get something done!
Any advice in this area would be greatly appreciated!! I want something that once completed will look good, but yet still be fully functionable!!

Thank you!!

your best bet would be to ask a maker to make you a rough finished kukri,

pretty much all kukri's are forged because otherwise its a huge waste of metal and it wont have the right taper unless you use something thick

someone will probley offer you this service on here.

I picked up an old Khukri then reprofiled and replaced the handle. I also re-did the edge. Good little chopper. Just have to make a sheath for it now.

I think I paid $15 for the Khukri. The seller wanted to get rid of it since the handle was loose.

Just a thought.
