Could the Tuff Lite have a better finish?

Which part, the unfinished side of the OP’s Tuff Lite, or not supplying lefty pocket clips?

Dug out mine, which is probably 5 years old (has the 2nd logo), and it is equally finished on both sides.

All mine are not as champhered as well on the show side that says Cold Steel. I would imagine these are stamped out, and not much time spent smoothing up the edges due to the price point.

It is still an awesome design and does not bother me.

I think if it does, a few swipes of a round file can smooth up the finger hole. It looks like the OP has already done this, which is great as it's tuned up for him better.

Unfortunately, a pic cannot show the feeling of the touch. But I can try to make a macro later.

That side of the folder is not only not chamfered: it has no finishing whatsoever.

I dare to say that if your unit was identical to mine, you couldn't say that the border hole doesn't bother you. It feels like an edge.

I'll take new pics of my units in the next days.

I'm refining the edge of the other unit with another file, and I will keep it. But enough is enough and I'm returning this one.
