Could this be ROBOCOP's knife?

I got this quote from Brian Tighe's website:

"Currently I am also working with Columbia River Knife and Tool on an existing design, this production knife will be available on the market in the Fall of 2000."

Anyone know what the design might be based on?

I can't wait!
 
There was a Prototype at the Blade Show this past June. I, unfortunatly, didn't get a picture.

However James Mattis of Chai Cutlery did. Here is a link to all the pictures James got at the Show and Specifically, here is the Tighe design.
