This wide jimping is pretty cool looking. It doesn't look as effective for grip, but as usual things that are rarely seen draw the eye.

I think the wide jimping looks awesome with the scallops on the regulars.
Anyone know about how long they used it?

It really does.Plus, it just looks so darn cool.
Your preaching to the quire here. My wife made me buy her one to EDC after she saw mine on the dresser.
Will take pics and post this weekend....!!! I did not forget![]()
I've got a large 2004 Regular with the wide jimping.
Got it here this year. I don't carry it though, and carry a late 90's(un-dated) large Regular.
I love the small Regular too, and often carry mine from 1997. I can get my index finger farther up an the handle, and can easily get a full four fingers on it. I have trouble getting them fully on the other smalls.
I love the large Regular even more. I like how you can have your hand up, back, or in the middle giving you many options with gripping the knife.
IMO it is the best knife ever made by anyone, and I've held a lot at Blade.
Congrats on your smalls. Those are very nice indeed !
On the list of knives I wish I never sold are my 2003 wide jumping small Regular, with grooved handles as you see in the OP, and an end-of-production 2008 large Regular. I need both of them back. Great pics thanks for sharing!
